What do you want from us???

News flash: This little blog has been around for a little over five months and has seen a few over 10,000 visitors. Writing was a little more easy in the beginning, since no one was actually reading it. Now we're having a little trouble. It's not easy to keep coming up with things to write about, you know. Some input, maybe?

There won't REALLY be a death match. But you can vote for it anyway. Kittens remain a possibility, though.

I would rather like to see a kinky match, not necesserily deadly one. (The winner gets a free i-pod.)

I don't think anything could ever get kinky between Excimer and me. (He is probably either cracking up or thinking ...ew. I did the former)

but there is nothing alarming - to think about lab glassware, strawberries, handcuffs...

no one like polymer...no one like supramolecules...no one...

I think the people want more kittens. They're just afraid to admit it.

The mostlovely kitten slide-show can be found here:

The picture #3 in this slide-show has been used to convey a famous spiritual message:

Maybe you'd like to write about these two papers:

1. Template-Directed Synthesis of a Pi-Conjugated Porphyrin Nanoring

2. Synthesis of an All-in-One Molecule (for Organic Solar Cells)

They are kind of instructive. Where can this "inhumane synthetic effort" bring you? I haven't seen a discussion on these around, and IMHO it's worth it.

Bright colors apply! And I don't mind the deathmatch.

Wow, thanks milkshake. That kitten slide show is really good. I always wondered where pic #3 came from.

I voted for kittens as one of the things I was interested in, but that slide show covers a lot of it I guess...

if death match wins and then there is no death match I would be pretty disappointed ...

I've just followed milkshake's second link. You're a terrible, terrible person! I can't believe I said thank you to you earlier. What do you have against kittens anyways?

I'm going to go look at the kitten gallery again now...

lc: Stuart over at The Sceptical Chymist already got around to the porphyrin nanoring. Pretty awesome, though. That thing's HUGE! ...I'll definitely have to check out the second one, though. Thanks!!!

You should probably add "HUGE things" to the poll :)

I thought you usually had kittens in the lab when your expected product does not seem to materialize?

Lakshmi: I prefer to call them "evil reaction pixies"
